There is no greater agony than
bearing an untold story inside
you.

Start Writing a Book
Here you'll discover self-publishing basics; five reasons for not writing a novel; the ins and outs of self-
publishing; how to build an author platform; how to avoid scams; tips on how to title your book; what to
include on the pages before and after the story; how to work with an editor; and how to create an effective
elevator speech and book synopsis.

To get you started, here are six important questions to ask yourself before you start writing. Knowing the
answers early on will save you time and potentially money in the long run.

  1. What are my goals for writing this book?
  2. What is my timetable for getting it published?
  3. How much time per day can I commit to writing?
  4. How much money am I willing to spend to get it published?
  5. What will make my book stand out from the rest?
  6. Who will be the target audience for this book?
  7. What will make my book marketable?
  8. Do I know how to start?
So you're thinking about writing a book...

The first thing I want to share with you is that some things
are best done sooner rather than later. In this section of
my website, you'll find several articles (see menu bar on
left) to help new authors reach a more comfortable place
before tackling that first chapter.

There is no greater agony than
bearing an untold story inside you.
